Preaching is a living activity. The delivery of the Word is meant to be deeply informed by the relationship between pastor and people. There can be no substitute for being present in your own assembly when the Word is preached by your own minister. We strongly encourage you to listen regularly and receptively to the Word preached by your own teaching elder.
With that in mind, we offer the following sermons. If you find them helpful we would be more than happy to hear from you and to get to know you.
Gospel in Paul's Third Visit to Corinth (2 Corinthians 12:11-13:4)
Paul was planning to visit Corinth for a third time. Behind his preparation lies the gospel. The gospel informed the way he would come.
1. He worked with the endurance of an apostle--because Christ-like patience is of greater value to God than the exercise of even the greatest gifts
2. He spent himself with the selflessness of a father--because the gospel establishes grace-relationships, not power-relationships in the church
3. He was coming with the authority of Christ--because church discipline is an application of the gospel, not of social coercion
