Preaching is a living activity. The delivery of the Word is meant to be deeply informed by the relationship between pastor and people. There can be no substitute for being present in your own assembly when the Word is preached by your own minister. We strongly encourage you to listen regularly and receptively to the Word preached by your own teaching elder.

Great Privilege Entails Great Responsibility (Hebrews 12:25-29)
We have greater privilege under the new covenant than Israel had under the old covenant. But that greater privilege entails greater responsibility, because under the new covenant:
1. God speaks to us from heaven, not on the earth
2. God shakes the whole of creation, not just Mount Sinai
3. God ushers us into his own home, not into a merely temporal realm
