Preaching is a living activity. The delivery of the Word is meant to be deeply informed by the relationship between pastor and people. There can be no substitute for being present in your own assembly when the Word is preached by your own minister. We strongly encourage you to listen regularly and receptively to the Word preached by your own teaching elder.
With that in mind, we offer the following sermons. If you find them helpful we would be more than happy to hear from you and to get to know you.
We See Jesus (Psalm 8:1-9)
The author of Hebrews quotes Psalm 8 and--conceding that we do not at present see all things in subjection to man--he nonetheless affirms that "we see Jesus."
1. We see Jesus clothed in human weakness--but he's clothed in human weakness for the display of God's power.
2. We see Jesus crowned with universal authority--and he's crowned with universal authority for the extension of God's gracious kingdom.
3. We see Jesus shining with divine majesty--and he's shining with divine majesty to receive from us the worship he is due as God
