Preaching is a living activity. The delivery of the Word is meant to be deeply informed by the relationship between pastor and people. There can be no substitute for being present in your own assembly when the Word is preached by your own minister. We strongly encourage you to listen regularly and receptively to the Word preached by your own teaching elder.

The Parable of Family Life (Hosea 1:1-3:5)
Hosea 1-3 isn't just the introduction to Hosea's prophecy, but to the message of the Book of the Twelve. It shows us our sin, and it affirms God's constant love.
1. The wife--Hosea's wife exposes the problem of sin
2. The children--Gomer's children depict the consequences of sin
3. The husband--the husband displays God's redeeming love, despite our sin
